Snow and ice in Kurzeme, Latgale and the central part of the country on Tuesday, January 6th morning, make for poor driving conditions, said Latvian State Roads (LVC).
Driving conditions are difficult on the main roads A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, A9, A10, A11, A12, A13, A14, A15, P80.
On regional roads, driving conditions are poor in the vicinity of Rīga, Liepāja, Saldus, Tukums, Dobele, Jelgava, Bauska, Ogre, Aizkraukle, Gulbene, Rēzekne, Preiļi, Ludza, Daugavpils, and Krāslava.
113 maintenance units are clearing the roads.
