Hi there i am studying in Germany for a short time and will be flying back to my country at February. I have bought the DB ticket for this month and want to cancel before it renews for the next month to avoid paying 63 euro for just a short time before my flight home. I read that you have to cancel in the app choosen (Deutschlandticket) before the 10th of the month subscribed to avoid the renewal for next month. I got confused whether i need to cancel before 10th January this year or i can just cancel it afterwards before the deadline which is on 29th? Also if i click on the cancel would my ticket be voided this month or still usable just canceled subscription?

You have to cancel it now until the 10th, then it will end on Jan 31st.

Yes.
The cancellation deadline for nearly all providers is the 10th of the previous month. So if you want January to be the last month you have it, you need to cancel by January 10. You don’t say which provider you have so its impossible to say what your cancelation deadline is.
Cancel it before the 10th and you can still use it for the entirety of January.
