      God the conversations around this Freeland “gaffe” are so incredibly trite and dumb. She never told Canadians to cancel Disney+. She said that the Canadian government was planning to cut things they don’t need just like her family cancelled Disney+ when she realized her kids weren’t watching it any more.

      But now it’s a meme and people repeat it non stop as if she is Marie Antoinette (who didn’t even say “let them eat cake”)
       Congratulations everyone. The media misinformed you and you didn’t bother to check the context and see that you were being misinformed. If you thought your were above that you’re not. God knows I’m not, but at least I didn’t fall for this one.
