Poland to Lead Logistical Support for Ukraine Without Deploying Troops

Poland does not intend to deploy its troops on Ukrainian territory, but will act as a driver of logistical support for Kyiv and partner countries operating in the region.

This was announced by Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a press conference for Polish journalists after a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing leaders in Paris.

Logistics as a Priority in Supporting Ukraine

“Poland will be a leading country in logistical and organizational matters. Each task has its national leader, and among the four countries that will decide how to act after the war ends, Poland is one of the leading countries”

The prime minister stressed that Poland’s involvement in logistical support for its allies will be significant for Ukraine and its partners.

At the same time, he emphasized that the country does not plan to send its troops to Ukraine.

As part of the discussion, there was also talk about further steps to expand logistical support and strengthen security for Ukraine and the region.

Following the meeting, the coalition leaders expressed readiness to continue joint efforts aimed at ensuring stability and security in Europe. It was also emphasized that the architecture of security guarantees requires a clear distribution of roles among partner countries.
