“Peace agreements signed by Russia over the past 15 years have all been broken — in Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine. Based on that experience, we want peace and guarantees,” President Macron said at the Coalition of the Willing summit

Russia does not honor agreements and never fails to do the wrong thing. That about sums it up. A lawless, failed society. More world leaders need to publicly call them out on this.

Good job Macron! Slava Ukraine!

Russians only understand military force. Why bother with the paperwork?

Only 15 years? By my reckoning, Russia has not kept any peace agreement signed within the last 50 years. Perhaps longer.

Russia doesn’t honor their peace agreements because they know that Europe doesn’t have the will or capability to do anything about it.
All they have is harsh words, then look to the US to fight their battles for them.

A couple of weeks ago I noticed that recent pictures of the frontlines were missing the thousands of shell holes per square kilometre, now replaced by thousands of fibre optics.
Consider this, if a ceasefire, followed by a surrender of territory is accepted by Ukraine, these once fertile lands will be poisoned and dangerous for a hundred years.
The thing is, it will all be in the Russian sector, a wide band of territory stretching from Kupiansk to the Black Sea a 350 mile long corridor, often 40 miles wide, of foul farmland, just right for Orc snouts to snuffle for rotten poisoned vegetables shrouded in optic fibre cables, surrounded by a thousand hamlet, villages a towns, laid waste as rubble.
It’s a dystopian world that would cost Russian billions to clean and rebuild. But they won’t because Putin doesn’t give a fuck for them, because all he wanted was the victory and the land. As far he is concerned, the peasants can try to reclaim it themselves – what’s a leg, arm, life lost when he has victory?
Ukraine can lick its wounds, mourn its losses, thank its people and the millions around the world who supported them for four plus years and they don’t have to deal the crap Russia tainted their former lands.
So you see, it’s not a defeat, it’s a victory and something that Finland also experienced and look at them now.
Finland, prosperous and often voted the most content country, while their lost territory Karelia, is poor, undeveloped and run by Russians.

With today’s America, it’s time for yo7 all to send in troops and push Russia the fuck out of Ukraine! Stop messing with Putin and trump!

Any Russian guarantees will be utterly worthless, so Macron’s statement is self-contradictory. ‘Russian promises are no good, so we want promises’
The only thing Russia understands is force of arms, so let them feel force of arms. If the USA and European nations had provided Ukraine with the proper military aid and been more forceful themselves with Russia back in 2014 then perhaps all of this could have been avoided. Easy for me to say I know.
