If he takes Greenland, he acknowledges Putin’s aggression towards Ukraine and China’s probable takeover of Taiwan.

The difference is there’s zero possibility of the US taking over Canada, but the same can’t be said about Greenland.
Trump’s argument that they need it for security doesn’t make any sense, since militarily they can pretty much do anything they want now anyway.
