The Leesburg Environmental Advisory Commission is seeking nominations for its 2025 Tolbert Environmental Achievement award.
The award recognizes individuals, community groups, businesses and students for activities involving pollution prevention, waste reduction, protection of the natural environment, habitat improvement, beatification of the environment, environmental education, monitoring the conditions of Leesburg’s environment and utilizing recycled materials in innovative ways.
Nominations may be submitted online by Feb. 28.
The award will be presented at a future Town Council meeting.
