I took this random photo of Helsinki during my trip to Finland in early January 2020. I enjoy looking at it becaues people are just walking around, enjoying the beautiful Christmas lights that are still up and are blissfully unaware of the chaos that is just around the corner.

the winter 19/20 was historically shit, I hope you had a good time even without the snow
I remember that year. It didn’t snow much, maybe not at all. It was early years after I moved to Finland, I thought it was a regular thing : ) Then it wasn’t too long to experience the devastating chores of shoveling snow.
