What is going on with DPD? What am I supposed to do now?

I ordered from Popmart last year and now that it has finally arrived in Germany, I suddenly hear from DPD that they could not deliver it and they’re sending it back to Popmart. No card in my mailbox, nothing. I was home all day and waited. I only know because I checked the tracking number.

I just called the DPD hotline to check my tracking number and the mechanical voice told me the parcel is still on its way to me. Weird.
