Ah yes, we have finished another two week Trump flip flop.

    Russia bad now.

While he hasn’t never said Ukraine good, Russia bad is better than Russia good.

Tell you what Trump, now you know Putin lied to you about the attack on his palace, give Zelenskyy the Tomahawks within the next two weeks, before you change your child like mind again.

    Finally this could be huge.

Not a great year for Muscovy so far. And for the rest of the world but there besides the point.

  3. Just wait for Putin to phone Trump, just before he signs the bill. Then suddenly Ukraine will be the Villain, have started the war, be expected to give up the whole country etc etc. it has happened so many times…

  4. TACO anyone? Color me sceptical, but I’ll believe it when it happens, also why would Trump bother consulting Congress (he doesn’t usually)? So he can tell his handler it was beyond his control? Well, if it happens and actually put into effect it’ll be a good thing, and about time.

    This is huge!
Unfortunately quite late. This will take at least a year or 2 to really hit Russia hard

Bull, there’s an ulterior motive there. Unless the RF is close to collapse and they’re attempting damage control.

I’ve been praising that for weeks. Now the timing is right, yes indeed.
Now that Trump has secured Venezuelan oil, he will pressure India, Russia, Brazil, and others to stop buying Russian oil, or face sanctions with the left hand — and with the right hand, he’ll provide them with an alternative he controls in the form of Venezuelan oil.

To be fair, I’m ready to stomach this bullshit for the sake of Ukraine — I’d be a cunt not to. But I cannot help myself from thinking that Trump is the worst piece of shit to ever plop his fat ass in the Oval Office.

One day, not far away, I hope he will belong to the past, and history will remember him as one of the worst people ever to occupy such a position of power.

I hope those sanctions are actually enforced, and that this isn’t just something to appease people while the Epstein files haven’t been properly released and while ICE is now shooting American citizens in the face.

    Slava Ukraine.

  8. Fingers crossed he doesn’t flip on this again by tomorrow afternoon after a phone call and a packet of crisps from Putin.

In all seriousness though if this managed to pass it would be a great step forward to prevent Russian imperialism.

But still no tarriffs on Russia for the 3 1/2 billion dollars we spend with them each year.

  10. One that is truly bi-partisan in Congress is stopping Russian aggression. Trump will Damm sign it.

This bill allows Trump to impose sanctions (like he really cares about congressional approval to do anything). It doesn’t obligate him to do anything. It doesn’t actually impose any sanctions on anyone.

  12. Congress has relinquished their power to a dictator. If trump desired he would have imposed such sanctions without their blessing. The checks and balances on his power get weaker every day. Congress is becoming obsolete and this is just political theatre.

  13. He wants to juice the market for Venezuelan oil so he can sell it to fill his personal slush fund. Fucking American Fascists.. (I am American)

  14. The timing is right. One more tool to use against Russia. This could be huge. Putin has turned his country into a boiled frog, and more trouble is coming for him. Collapse of Russia might be better for everyone, rather than some (temporary) peace treaty. Putin is getting backed farther into the corner, and his greed prevents him from salvage.

  15. Hmm new sanctions, stolen oil, still no entire Epstein files. Sounds like another lie to take attention away from Epstein.

Two weeks, until he gets a call today from Putin and then it’ll vanish. The US is not an ally of democracy and Europe.

  17. As always, Trump is being hypocritical. He continues to allow his European sycophants, Orban, Fico, etc., to buy unlimited quantities of Russian oil and gas from Putin. Trump is simply a liar.
