This is an edited clip (not my edit). The timing is basically confirmed to be the first day of the assault on the airport, but I am not sure if the explosion shown is that specific Ka-52, especially since there is an obvious cut right there.
However, the location of the explosion looks very similar to this spot: [KA-52 RF-91122]

Supposedly Russia had IL-76 full of troops coming for reinforcement to Hostomel, but Ukraine shut it down before it had a chance to land.
If only those VDV troops knew what awaited them in the coming days/weeks

Agree or disagree that America was right to do it, but man they showed off how to do heliborne assaults correctly in Venezuela a few days ago. The prep and execution were top-notch.
This was really the only day that people thought Russia was going to win.
