WACO, Texas (AP) — Iowa State senior point guard Tamin Lipsey grew up near campus in Ames and says he’s been a Cyclone his entire life. Now he’s part of something the program had never done before. Third-ranked Iowa State is 15-0 for the first time following a 70-60 victory at Baylor. Lipsey scored 24 points, overcoming some early foul trouble that kept him on the bench for nearly eight minutes in the first half. Joshua Jefferson had 19 points and 17 rebounds for the Cyclones. Their 15-0 start and 15-game winning streak are both school records, surpassing a 14-0 start by the 2013-14 team.

PJ Haggerty led Kansas State with 19 points and Nate Johnson added 15. Arizona is off to its best start since winning the first 21 games of the 2013-14 season. Arizona won by at least 18 points for the 10th consecutive game, matching a mark Michigan had earlier this season that tied for the longest such run since 2003-04. Koa Peat had 15 points and 10 rebounds and Tobe Awaka added nine and 11 for Arizona.

BYU outscored Arizona State 31-16 in fast-break points and blocked 10 shots. Anthony Johnson scored 24 points while Massamba Diop had 22 points and nine rebounds to pace the Sun Devils, who dropped their fourth game in a row.

Johnson and Michaeli hit 3-pointers 27 seconds apart that made it 33-29 with 4:58 left in the first half and Colorado led the rest of the way. The Buffaloes scored 16 of the final 22 points — six by Rancik in the final 90 seconds.

Carter McCray scored 15 points, Kierra Wheeler had 11 points and nine rebounds, and Sydney Shaw added 10 points and seven rebounds. The Mountaineers, who had their seven-game win streak snapped, made just two of their final 19 field-goal attempts

The Bearcats, who are 1-4 all-time against Iowa State, beat a Top-25 opponent for the first time since a 65-62 win over then-No. 20 Marquette on Feb. 28, 2011. Caliyah DeVillasee added 13 points and Joya Crawford 10 for Cincinnati (6-10, 1-3 Big 12). Audi Crooks had 23 points and 10 rebounds, and Jada Williams added 13 points and seven assists for Iowa State (14-2, 2-2). The Cylcones lost 72-70 at home against No. 22 Baylor last time out to snap a program-record tying 14-game win streak to open the season.

Clara Silva adds 12 points and seven rebounds for TCU, which rebounds from a recent loss against Utah. Jadyn Wooten and Stailee Heard lead Oklahoma State with 25 and 23 points, respectively. TCU shoots 52% overall and makes 9 of 18 three-pointers, while Oklahoma State struggles from distance.
