In Bozeman, one of the world’s most unique museums puts American innovation on full display and traces our progress from early machines to the technology shaping what comes next.

For more than 35 years, the American Computer and Robotics Museum in Bozeman has taken visitors on a journey through the evolution of technology and how it’s interacted with the way humans communicate and think. From early inventions to modern computing, the museum traces how technology has evolved over time.

As quantum computing takes root right here in Bozeman, the museum is turning its focus to that next frontier.

“Bozeman in particular is the hub of photonics and quantum computing and fantastic cooperation that we have with MSU and QCOR,” said Museum Co-Founder and Co-Board President Barbara Keremedjiev. The exhibit will be fully open by the end of the month.

At the heart of the Museum’s mission is its commitment to education. They sponsor field trips, learning programs for youth, and other community events.

“We are very lucky to be here in Bozeman because this whole community really cherishes education. It’s very easy to talk to people, very easy to show new things, very easy to explain and very easy to talk about history,” Keremedjiev said.
