Robert Irwin has touched back down in Australia after his Dancing with the Stars win!

On Thursday, Jan. 8, the wildlife conservationist, 22, shared a video to Instagram that featured his Mirrorball Trophy — and some residents of the Australia Zoo, which the Irwin family owns and operates.

“The mirrorball has made it home – had to show my friends what I’ve been up to 🪩🐨” he captioned the post, alongside a video of himself holding his trophy as he showed it off to some zoo animals, including a koala, a bird and a snake, who all took time to sniff, bite and slither around the shiny prize.

Later on in the sweet clip, the DWTS winner could be seen comparing his trophy to his sister Bindi Irwin, who won season 21.

The conservationist also shared his win with his niece, Bindi’s 4-year-old daughter Grace.

“This is uncle Robert’s mirrorball, and this is mommy’s mirrorball,” Bindi can be heard telling her daughter, who shrieks with delight as she sees the glittering trophies.

Just a few days prior, Irwin teased in another Instagram post that he was getting ready to head back into the Crocoseum — the Australia Zoo’s live crocodile experience during which he feeds the animals and shows them off to crowds of visitors.

“It’s been a while, it’s about time,” he teased. “It’s gonna be my first time feeding the crocodiles in about five months. What could possibly go wrong?”

Irwin’s return home comes amid his Dancing with the Stars victory alongside Witney Carson on Nov. 25, his movie debut in Zootopia 2 (as Robert Furwin, of course) and the announcement of a “passion project” at the Australia Zoo.

On Tuesday, Dec. 2, Irwin revealed that he’s “heading back home” to work with the Crocodile Hunter Lodge at the zoo, which opened in 2022. “It has been quite the passion project that we’ve been working on,” he said, calling the venue “a way to really properly welcome everyone to our home.”

Irwin also expressed gratitude for the “incredible” support he’s received in the U.S., adding that it’s been “really cool to see” people now visiting the Australia Zoo.

Irwin and Carson, 32, secured the Mirrorball Trophy during the DWTS season 34 finale — 10 years after Bindi won season 21 with partner Derek Hough.

“To follow in those footsteps and to do the same has meant everything to me,” he told PEOPLE backstage after the show finale. “This has absolutely changed my life.”

He told PEOPLE that seeing his sister claim the title was particularly special as it was also an opportunity to spread the message about the Irwin family’s conservation work, Australia Zoo and Wildlife Warriors, their charity.

“It’s about making the world a better place. And when I watched her lift that Mirrorball, I saw her lifting that message,” he said.
