The Mayor of Jūrmala and the President of Latvia Discussed the Future of the Dzintari Concert Hall
During the meeting, the development of Jūrmala was discussed, including the sustainable growth of the city and infrastructure development. The cooperation between state and municipal institutions, as well as current tasks and priorities for the future, were also addressed.
Lediņš reported that the possibility of transforming the concert hall into an agency or institution was discussed with the president. The option of alienation is not being considered, the mayor said.
Currently, it is unknown when a decision regarding the concert hall will be made, as the enterprise is undergoing an audit, after which a representative of the capital share holder will propose possible courses of action.
