On 9 January 2026, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili met with Subbu Ramesh, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the Republic of India to Georgia.
The meeting was also attended by other representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of India to Georgia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed existing cooperation between the two countries and the action plan for 2026, including the organization of high-level visits, exchanges and cooperation among representatives of line ministries, and opportunities for the exchange of scientific, academic, and business delegations. Particular attention was paid to the prospects for participation of representatives of both countries in international events and training programs planned to be held in India and Georgia.
