I would trust the digital price tag more. But the difference is 10 øre per kilogram, which is practically nothing unless you’re buying many kilograms og oranges.

  2. 10 øre per kg is not a big enough difference to matter for most people. I’d have to buy what, 10kg of oranges for the difference to make 1 krone?

  3. «Alltid 8» (and the «1 av 8» signage) is the long running Coop Extra campaign with always 8 different fruits/vegetables on special offer. https://www.coop.no/extra/kampanje/alltid-8

Most likely, the printed posters were planned in advance of this week, and the electronic price tag shows a lower price because of other offers from competing supermarkets. The price of kr 20,- pr kg, will be available until February 8. In this case, the price on the electronic tag, will be the one that customers pay.

In addition, there’s an 11% discount on this item (and other fruit and vegetables) for Coop members.

  4. Lowest price = the price you pay. If the digital sign had showed 29.90, you would pay 20. Its the stores responsibility to update the shelves with the correct price.. if they lax – their loss.

Ofc since we dont have 10 øre (0.1 kroner) in Norway, you would pay 20,- if you buy 1 kg anyway 🙂 (10 kg would be 199,- and not 200,- tho).

  5. Digital sign is updated continuously, so it is the correct one (unless it is defective). You can’t change the sign every time the price changes, you wouldn’t have time to do anything else.

Fuck the «VG-børs», it has destroyed how pricing works in Norwegian retail, and given consumers a fucked up view of what prices are.

Betaler du cash så er jo plakaten riktig. Betaler du med kort er den digitale riktig.

  7. Its 19.90 pr kilo. Its probably a campaign they are running and they love using round numbers in some campaigns for some reason. The digital price it connected to their system so it shpuød always be most accurate.
