The organizers announced that the weekly “March of the Angels” will not take place.

Under the motto “Two Cities, One Shared Pain,” a peaceful gathering will be held in the town of Kochani as a sign of solidarity with the victims of the tragedy in Crans-Montana. Parents of children who died in the fire at the Pulse nightclub said they understand the pain and the emptiness such a tragedy leaves behind.

The organizers announced that the weekly “March of the Angels” will not take place. Instead, citizens are being called to attend a dignified gathering aimed at conveying a message of compassion and solidarity.

Under the slogan “From Kochani to Crans-Montana: A Silent Tribute to the Fallen,” residents of Kochani will come together to light candles and pay their respects in silence.

“From a city that carries pain within itself to mothers and families who today are living through the same silence — let us stand together, without words that are too small for such a loss. Come and light a candle. Let us pay tribute in silence, with hearts that know compassion. Let us share the silence that connects those who have lost with those who remember. Kochani remembers. Kochani grieves. Kochani stands with the mothers and families of Crans-Montana,” the organizers wrote on Facebook. | BGNES
