Saariselkä last week. You take it for granted but this really was an unreal experience. Thanks for the experience, and surprisingly even -30 not that cold. I’ll be back next year 😉

Lapland -30 is not comparable to windy coastal -30. Though neither are fun if you are further than 30 minutes from warmth with city dweller attire.

Why was it such a great experience? It is of course beautiful but for us snowy winter is (still) one of the seasons, and something that we all enjoy after the darkness of the autumn.
Stunning pics really! You can feel it via your pictures how it must have felt for you on your adventure in Lapland. The winter might be sooo beutiful.

One of our favorite places to visit is Jávri Lodge in Saariselkä. Wonderful nordic skiing, good food, enjoyable people.
