My kids love a good flying fox playground. This one in Whites Hill Reserve is a particular fan favourite. Does anyone know of any more playgrounds with these? Willing to travel.

I managed to find a few more. Sadly there doesn’t seem to be a definitive list of these so perhaps we can make one together. Anything to add here friends?

  2. Pine Rivers Park – Strathpine

    Frank Sleeman Park – Boondall

    The Mill Park – Petrie

Just a few off the top of my head that I’ve been to recently.

Rocks riverside park at Seventeen Mile Rocks. They also have a jumping pillow which I have not seen at any other public park in Brisbane

Bowman Park in Bardon. It’s a fairly small flying fox but they also have a bmx pump track

There are a few in my local area that are favourites of ours.
CREEC, Burpengary (this is an amazing accessible playground that is huge with water play, in ground trampolines, massive playground and a lovely nature walk through the bush)
    Stone Ridge Park, Narangba
    Greenway Central Park, Narangba

  6. Not Brisbane but not too far, Queens Park in Ipswich has one, the whole playground was pretty cool from memory too. It also has a Japanese Garden, a lookout at the top of the hill and the Ipswich Nature Centre there is free (gold coin donation would be good as it helps the animals). They have owls, snakes, dingoes, emus, chickens and a lot of native wildlife. My daughter loves going.

The cafe at Queens Park is popular too, the food is usually pretty good and they have ‘Ipswich’s Thickest Thickshake’ which my FIL loses his mind for lmao.

Flagstone is great. Two flying foxes and loads of other stuff. Plus lots of water play too.
Bit of a drive but it’s a nice car ride.

  8. Not Brisbane but literally Brisbane adjacent plus a nice walk – indigiscapes in the Redlands.

  9. As strange as it is, Nudgee collage has a new play ground with two side by side. They aren’t to bad either
