From January 21 to February 7, 2026, the UEFA Futsal EURO 2026 will be held in Lithuania, Latvia, and Slovenia. The Armenia national futsal team will take part in the continental championship for the first time in its history and will compete in Group B, with all group matches played in Kaunas, Lithuania.
The team coached by Ruben Nazaretyan will begin the tournament on January 22 with a match against the Ukraine national team, one of the main favorites of the competition. Armenia will then face the Czech Republic on January 25, before concluding the group stage on January 28 with a match against the host nation, Lithuania.

The Ukraine national futsal team are bronze medalists of the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup. The squad features top-level players from both the domestic championship and foreign leagues. The backbone of the team consists of players from HIT Kyiv, who reached the UEFA Futsal Champions League Round of 16 this season. The squad also includes two players from Spain’s top league and three players from Eurobus, one of the leading clubs in the Polish championship.

The Armenia national futsal team consists of Armenian players competing in the Russian Super League, as well as representatives of the three leading clubs of the Armenian championship. The team will travel to Lithuania on January 18, and as part of their preparation for the tournament, they will play a friendly match against the Lebanon national team on January 15.
UEFA Futsal EURO 2026 will mark a historic debut for the Armenia national futsal team at a tournament of this level.
