Norway ended Golden League tournament with a win over Netherlands 33:30, while a day before they suffered defeat against Denmark 26:34. After the test matches, Sander Sagosen and Torbjorn Bergerud have talked with Ivan Ilic, Handball-Planet.com correspondent:

    • The first game against Denmark was tough. We played a strong team, but we managed a good first half. Today we were okay in the first half, but very good in the second — we found more rhythm and better flow, and it was fun to play – said Sagosen and added:

    • We’re fully focused on the opener against Ukraine. It’s always difficult to play the opening match at home, but we’ve had a good training period and we’re looking forward to it.

    Torbjorn Bergerud:

    • We’re in a good phase right now. We still have some things to adjust, but it’s still early — we have almost a week until the first match, and we’re in a good position.

Wisla Plock goalkeeper commented playing as a host in Oslo:

    • “Playing at home gives us something extra. There will be a lot of spectators, and we’re really looking forward to it. Like almost every team here, we believe we can win — but we need to find our flow and perform at a high level. There are 11 or 12 teams with the potential to win it, so we’ll do our best and see where we stand.”
