Zahawi was sacked as Conservative Party chairman in 2023 for failing to adhere to the Ministerial Code, i.e. “to maintain high standards of behaviour and to behave in a way that upholds the highest standards of propriety”.
Stomach-churning listening to his big speech – promising to break up all the Quangos THAT HIS PARTY SET UP AND EMPOWERED, denouncing the destruction of parliamentary sovereignty WHEN HIS PM PROROGUED PARLIAMENT, and finishing off by sucking up to Christian nationalists by dropping in cherrypicked bible verses, woe be us if 30% of the electorate think this tripe is impressive and worth voting for

And claimed MP’s expenses to heat his horses stables…. A real poster boy for the working class declining ex-steel making, ex-coal mining, ex-industrial North, Midlands and South Wales Valley’s communities…. He’s a perfect fit for Reform U.K. and Farage, Tice et al….!
The fact that Nadhim is a morally bankrupt, wet sock flapping in the breeze of a man, it should come as absolutely no surprise to anyone at all that he’s shifted over to those lunatics to maximise his chances of getting back into office.

Reform really do seem to be by far the most enthusiastic party when it comes to being negative about the UK. Obviously I understand why, because by convincing people that the country is in a “dark and dangerous” place they can get support for their policies.
Seems very cynical to me, feeding the social media disinformation that portrays our, generally very safe, cities as “no go areas”, Shariah law, all that nonsense.
I see so many people proudly saying they would neve vote Tory but are voting Reform.
