Russian Ambassador Sergey Kopirkin was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, APA reports, citing Armenian media.
A note of protest was presented to the ambassador, expressing deep indignation at statements made on the air of the state television channel’s program.
“It was emphasized that the statements made on the air of the state television channel’s program constitute an unacceptable aggression and manifestation of hostility against the sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia and grossly violate the fundamental principles of friendship between Armenia and Russia,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.
Note that Russian journalist Vladimir Solovyov stated the possibility of conducting a “special military operation” in Armenia.
