    More Americans Support Abolishing ICE Than Ever Before, Polling Data Shows

      We’ve got suburban parents, inner-city families, Frogs, Giraffes, and all manner of people and characters opposing trump and his Gestapo. What I want to know is, WHERE ARE THE FORMER PRESIDENTS! The Obamas are the only ones I ever see out there condemning what is happening. Where are Clinton, Bush, Biden? And their VPs and wives, too? Hillary and Kamala, (yeah, once in awhile), Laura, Jill, Pence, Gore, god, even Quayle would be a welcome sight. Remember when the Clintons, Bushes, Obamas, and Carters (RIP) did the pro-vaccine ads 4 years ago? They need to get out there again. I know they’re retired, but so are lots of us. And none of this, Gee, presidents don’t speak about each other. Nope, that is out the window today. You were once the leaders of this country. You’re not allowed to sit back and watch it all go to hell.

      Abolish the entire Department of “Homeland Security” and roll back the Patriot Act and the various bizarre riders on the NDAA.

      There’s a theory that if you can’t abolish them that it may be beneficial to infiltrate them. They are always looking for people to do their dirty work. It may be helpful to have people on the inside who will know ahead of time what is going to happen. I hear they pay really well too.

      Require them to dump the masks and the flack jackets and require them all to wear nametags and ID numbers. ICE will disappear faster than snow on a hotplate. We know they’re all just Kyle Rittenhouse wanabees.

      Instead of saying abolish, try using Trump language like refining, and then basically just strip it of being able to function like how Trump is breaking the dept of education. Once you break it, then you say “see, it’s not working” then you dismantle and abolish it

      Someone please explain why Democratic leadership in Congress refuse to entertain questions about abolishing ICE. Border Enforcement is fine, as far as I’m concerned. What ICE has been filmed doing with Noem’s complete support is criminal.

      The *entire* organization is corrupt and tainted by their extra-constitutional actions.

      ICE’s duties should be handed over to other law enforcement agencies until such time as a law abiding organization can be formed to take its place.

      I was not for abolishing ICE in the last administration, but it is time for it to go. Things have changed and as soon as he started using ICE for what he has been doing these past few months, it needs to be abolished.

      ICE is unnecessary even under normal circumstances. They are nothing but a dangerous over reach of the executive branch. As is a LOT that came out of that time post 9/11 when the country was scared and Congress took advantage to pass things like the Patriot Act. 

      It has only existed since 2003. The country survived 200 years without it. 

      People who want to keep it say “we have to protect our borders and enforce laws.” We have border patrol. We have law enforcement. Let’s up their recruiting numbers and give them the training to do their actual jobs instead of enabling a gestapo force.

      The corrupt members of the dem party, especially leadership, are going to try and clean that up, because that’s a big pile of taxpayer dollars for the billionaire shareholders of the defense industry ($170 billion over four years, to be exact). $28.7 billion this year. To put that into perspective, in the last two years, the U.S. has given Israel close to $40 billion dollars.

      My primary voting criteria at this point are full dismantlement and prosecution to the full extent of the law, including to the international criminal court if there’s blanket pardons.

      Ice hasn’t always been there. It was founded in 2003. SpongeBob is older than ice is. We were better off before them, and will be better off if we ever actually managed to get rid of them.

      The sad part is that ICE was actually doing good work. Working to bring down those that engage in drug trafficking, adult and children trafficking and the like.

      Stephen Miller changed all that. They were ordered to drop everything and only focus on appeasing his white nationalist wants.
