(Alliance News) – Vår Energi, a subsidiary of Eni Spa, announced on Tuesday that it has secured 14 new production licenses on the Norwegian continental shelf, six of which as operator, as part of the 2025 Awards in predefined areas.
Vår Energi was granted licenses in the North Sea, the Norwegian Sea, and the Barents Sea: most of the licenses are located near existing infrastructure, supporting the company’s hub strategy. The awards were announced today by the Norwegian Ministry of Energy.
Vår Energi is being offered 4 licenses in the North Sea, 6 licenses in the Norwegian Sea, and 4 licenses in the Barents Sea.
Eni shares are up 2.1% at EUR16.41 per share.
