  1. Whatever he’s doing has nothing to do with protecting protesters. He doesn’t care if the ones in his own country are shot.

  2. No more diplomacy, for the love of god. No more meetings ever. All of these criminals need to go immediately. They have turned Iran into Rwanda. Enough of this Islamic state regime!

  3. Last night, the State Department alerted all US citizens in Iran to leave immediately. Something’s coming for sure.

EDIT: Yes, I’m aware this could be SOP given the unrest, but in connection with Trump’s threats and past history w Iran I think it’s a heavy indicator.

  4. Pentagon pizza tracker is showing a spike.

So Friday or Saturday. Friday is weekly prayers so I reckon early Saturday morning.

Idk how to feel about this. If it’s true they just mowed down 12,000 unarmed people. Like how can we not help at this point? But will we actually help or make it worse? Not a good situation and not an easy answer.

Come on Trump send a strategic strike on the regime. We got the tech they don’t stand a chance. Pound that regime into history. Trump you know you got a hard on for Iran let’s finish this regime. The Iranian people need help let’s help them. Enough have died help them Trump. Fuck!

  7. The US is going to bomb Iran. The only question here is depth of US involvement. There is an interesting theory that Rubio the golden boy for Trump right now, particularly after the Venezuela operation. Trump got his high so Rubio is feeding him more of these regime change projects.

Silver lining (if there is one) if Rubio’s clout in Trump’s mind grows then you may see less influence for Miller and his insanity for empire.

Intervening militarily in Iran is dumb because I’m sure they have no fucking plan for what comes next (civil war, straits of Hormuz closure, retaliation) but it’s keeping in the usual Republican version of stupid and crazy.

  8. Relax, it’s all going to be fine. The best way to do foreign diplomacy is to have no plan, do the most extreme thing and make up the follow up actions as you go. It will all be fine. You’re going to be sick and tired of the winning you’ll be begging Trump to slow down.

Stop dooming on this one, this would liberate Iran, and that would be the best thing ever.

Israel exposed Iran’s military as a paper tiger. The illusion of strength is gone regardless of how hard they come down on their own population. They’re just creating new generations that hate the regime. It’s a matter of when it falls not if.

Good. Sometimes bad people can do good things. If Iran’s theocracy falls, that is a win for everyone.

  12. Honestly I am conflicted on this one. On the one hand, fuck the ayatollah’s and all their religious fanatics. They have destroyed a country with one of the greatest potentials on the planet, they are brutal, they are immoral, they are oppressive, and the list goes on and anything that takes them out is a good thing.

On the other hand, it’s Trump, it’s the US, I am confident they are gonna fuck this up, end up killing a shit ton of innocent people, and leave the country in a shattered state.

Remember when he was yelling at Zalenskyy “You’re playing with World War 3!”??? Pure cinema…

Considering the pizza index went way up last night and there were reports of soldiers getting steak and lobster for dinner last night. Things are probably gonna go down.

  15. He’s gonna kill the Iranian leadership and some of the protestors, declare himself king of Iran and then promptly forget about it at which point the Iranian military will take over and the killing will continue.

The guy who smelled of “rotten roast beef” and “audibly farted at least a dizen times” at his Very Important meeting with oil execs is about to spring into action, everyone!

  17. The US helping the protestors in Iran is probably a good thing.

I just wish I could trust team Trump’s motives and competency.

  18. He’s lying. What help?

This is the clown who forcibly removed the president of Venezuela, declared victory, and allowed the Venezuelan government to continue operating as it had before. He did this with no plan for replacing the government with a more favorable one. He didn’t even have oil companies on board to rebuild the infrastructure (Exxon’s CEO said Venezuela is “uninvestable”).

He makes promises and then half-asses *everything*. He’s after headlines and distractions from the Epstein Files. That’s what the ICE raids in Minnesota are about. That’s what the statements on Iran are about.

**It’s all a distraction from the fact that our president is a pedophile rapist; he’s a filthy little sex pervert, and he needs to give his fanbase cover for ignoring it.**

Does anyone with a brain (i.e., not a MAGA cultist or a craven, opportunistic Republican) actually believe this tyrant cares about *Iranian* civil rights? I can barely type that without laughing. He doesn’t even care about *American* civil rights.

It’s a distraction. Like everything with Trump, he’s trying to jump on a bandwagon and claim credit for something he has had / will have nothing to do with. If the Iranian people manage to overthrow their government, *bet money that our Orange Muppet will take credit for it by saying his silly threats against the Iranian regime led to its downfall*. He’ll be lying again, as usual, because he’s also a filthy, dirty liar.

  19. People seem to be real confused about this so let’s break it down:

    * The Iranian regime is a brutal fundamentalist dictatorship that is currently slaughtering peaceful protestors

    * This regime is very unfriendly to the US

So from these two points there is a very, very strong argument that intervention would be a moral and strategic positive for the US and the western world.

    On the other hand

    * American intervention with no humanitarian backup or further assistance to stabilise the country has in the past lead to decades of conflict in those regions

    * Trump’s administration is 100% using these opportunities to attack legitimately evil regimes as a way to legitimise American military intervention. Recognising that is important, as they will keep pushing the envelope.

Overall I want him to go in. The positives outweigh the negatives.

OK, so, killing protesters here is OK, but we’re going to send troops to Iran to stop it there. Gotcha.
