When is he going to start providing training and equipment to Minnesotans to protect and defend themselves and their property against ICE?
When is he going to stop using the state police to protect ICE murderers?
Anything short of that is grossely inadequate.

Minnesota State Police and MPD are protecting ICE, not the citizens. Walz and Frey are full of shit, until that changes

Just saw a live stream from a protest. Minnesota State Police standing shoulder to shoulder with ICE. I don’t live there, but if I did I would rather have Walz not say anything at all than give his version of thoughts and prayers.

He needs to provide training and equipment for Minnesotans to defend themselves against ICE and stop using state police to protect ICE agents involved in the shooting.

What happened to him saying he was going to bring in the national guard to protect citizens? So tired of talk and no action

We all know what he needs to do. But I don’t know if he wants to be the spark that starts a states vs government civil war. In that way I can understand his hesitation. But either way he goes, lives will be lost.

The Democrats won’t do anything for the next 9 months for one simple reason: they don’t have to.
What are you going to do, vote for Trump?
Anything resembling a healthy democracy is dead in America. Trump put the final stake in the heart. You now have a choice between corporate beholden do-nothing politicians who pretend to care about the less fortunate, and a fascist group of power-hungry narcissists who will do anything to benefit themselves.

It’s past time for him to STFU and deploy the Guard.
Shit has already started. It’s inevitable now that there be open and probably armed conflict between forces.
Let’s see who’s loyal to the people and who’s a fascist thug.

In the crucible of crisis, we search for leaders forged in courage. The moment is calling for lions. Instead we get lambs in lions’ clothing—bleating reassurances while the wolves circle, too craven to even name the danger at the gate.
Hollow men and women, all of them. All title and no timber. All office and no honour. Puffed up on ceremony, shrivelled in character. They mistake the seat for the statesman, the flag pin for the patriot.
Where we need iron spines, we get weathervanes—spinning, always spinning, chasing the wind of bipartisanship that died long ago. Where we need voices to steady a republic, we get pearl-clutching and parliamentary procedure. Where we need action, we get hand-wringing. Where we need fighters, we get fundraisers.
And when the hour demands they stand and be counted? Silence. Abstentions. Compromise with those who offer none in return. And the quiet shuffle of feet across the Capitol marble—always away, never toward—leaving the rest of us to face what they have not the stomach to name, let alone fight.
These are not leaders. These are seat-fillers. Seat-warmers in the halls the Founders built. And history will remember them as such—small men in sacred chairs, elected to lead, who swear an oath they never mean to keep, and flinch when their moment comes.
Where we need iron spines, we get weathervanes—spinning, always spinning, chasing the wind of the next election cycle. Where we need voices to steady a republic, we get poll-tested platitudes and the practiced art of saying nothing. Where we need sacrifice, we get self-preservation draped in the Stars and Stripes.
And when the hour demands they stand? Silence. Excuses. And the quiet shuffle of feet across the Capitol marble—always away, never toward—leaving the rest of us to face what they have not the stomach to name, let alone fight.

States used to be independent. State police are the people of the state, born and raised, taught the ins and outs of the towns or cities they choose to serve in. What’s happening now is that the people are blinded by money one after another, and Tim is no different than anyone else. Writing tickets became a business with a quota, just like running for office and sucking up to the federal government to make sure the money keeps flowing in. The founding fathers would be pissed to see what’s become of our country, and your reaction to this last sentence tells you all you need to know about yourself and where you stand.
