  1. Word to the wise: if you find abandoned/lost property in Japan (like say 100 million Yen in cash), turn it in to the police. If the true owner comes forward they have to pay you a reward. If the true owner isn’t found, the property will become yours after a waiting period.

If you don’t turn it into the police and try to keep it on the other hand, you’ll be arrested for stealing it.

And don’t break into abandoned houses looking for loot, that is against the law (and the above doesn’t apply to stuff you “found” in a house that you have no right to be inside).

Lol somebody inside the group must have been not happy with the distributed amount and reported it. Hard to bring everyone together with this number of people.

  3. 100 million Yen is about €545,000 (EUR) or $630,000 (USD).
    Divided by 16 kids it’s Â¥6,250,000 (€33,960/$39,420) each.
The average yearly income in Okinawa (2023) is ¥3,900,000.

  4. theses kids need to learn that,
