Do they really have any influence? Doesn’t seem to be the case over there. Trump administration running wild.

They’re just putting on a show.

  2. Finally, some sense in U.S. foreign policy. Congress showing support while the president threatens with tariffs, this is how diplomacy should work.

  3. Purely symbolic. But even that is completely cynical.

I heard the questions put to the US senators. When asked what the US Congress could do against Trump and his plan, there was absolutely no response. Instead, the emphasis was on how much of a symbol of unity it was that US senators had travelled to Denmark… .

    Nothing will come of it.

  4. So basically the diplomatic version of “Thoughts and Prayers” then. It’s hard to believe anything “said” when they refuse to take concrete legislative action.

what are you doing in another country when you should be stopping the one in your own country??

what is going to another country going to do to stop the mad king?

Interesting that this really is bipartisan. We might actually see Trump get removed if he keeps pressing this.

Ya these Republicans that went on this trip now need to back it up by impeaching and removing the orange shit stain from office.

The response from the delegation was very tepid, they almost sounded afraid to even mention Trump.

  9. This will not be solved by American politicians, unless they impeach the Cheeto, and state it’s explicitly for this reason. Let Vance-in-the-pants know it’ll carry ver to him as well.

No, to put a stop to it, the EU countries where the US has a military base needs to kick the troops out if they invade Greenland. If the US protests, ask the Cheeto if he’d allow hostile, foreign troops in the US.

Bunch of democrats and Thilis/Murkowsli…the latter which almost always gets in line after a call from Trump. This is not news

  11. I’m wondering if they will withdraw powers before or after a Trump invasion of Greenland. I suspect they will be reactive. Otherwise there would not be enough evidence. However at that point us would be at war and president would be impeachable which might be his intention.

  12. Impeach Trump. Stop all the political showcasing and get rid of the whole fucking admin. The entire Congress was ready to impeach Bill on a BJ rumor, but you’re letting Trump set fire to our largest cities while doing jack shit.

  13. Go fucink remove the orange shitstain and stop bothering anyone else on this planet. Americans are really the stupidest bunch when it comes to self awareness

  14. Too little too late. Even if they stop it, our reputation is ruined. MAGAts really are this stupidest people ever. They’ll see this and try to act like its a good thing

He knows that the moment his term ends or when he gets impeached that he is beyond fucked and will be prosecuted for his crimes. This is most likely an attempt to create a golden parachute when fleeing the country. His businesses will be transferred or dissolved and the orange felon knows he can’t do business for shit without going bankrupt if he can’t strong arm them to create revenue.

  16. Trump could be removed from office next week if Congress actually gave a damn. This is useless virtue signaling.

  17. What’s the point Democrats? I get so irritated by these gestures that don’t amount to anything.

  18. Don’t care.

I still don’t trust their government, they can all fuck off for all I care.

Until that prick is literally dragged outta office, idgaf what they do.

Americans are so funny. Their government is running amok with fascism and their idea of action isn’t to stop their government, it’s to show up at the victims home and be like “we’re so sowrry” “we’re sorry”

They are complicit with Trump since they are so quiet about this and many other things

  21. While this is a problem, their presence changes nothing for the Greenland issues and leaves their constituents back in their jurisdiction without ready representation and we have a mountain of issues to address….

  22. i hope they tried flødeboller. i want to be able to get them in the US. Ikea stopped carrying them over a decade ago.
