The best way to demonstrate is with your pocket. I understand that it’s very difficult to boycott all American products, but plenty can be. As an example, Apple’s marketshare for smartphones is like over 60% in Denmark. Plenty of very good smartphone brands that aren’t American.

While Trump couldn’t care less about the opinion of Danes and Greenlanders, demonstrations make a difference: the US has lost the propaganda war. Conquering Greenland would be easy if they could portray themselves as liberators from Danish imperialism or protectors against Russian encroachment, but that’s not going to work. They’ll have to use brute force, which is not that effective, as Iraq and Afghanistan show.
Both US and Russia are apparently very successful at uniting Europe, I’m all for it and I honestly hope it’s a lesson that will last generations.
