ConanOToole on January 17, 2026 8:11 pm That’s a Falcon 9 launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base launching 12 reconnaissance satellites for the National Reconnaissance Office. The orange cloud above is the exhaust from the 1st stage booster performing it’s boostback burn to head back towards the launch site for a landing. The purple cloud below is the 2nd stage carrying the satellites to orbit
