When The Netherlands and Norway are on a sanction list, you know it’s a sanction list that is trying to mess with honest people.
And people cheer him on, not understanding that while we might export a bit less, the Americans are the ones who pay 10% more for what little we export to the US.

This happened to Canada. What did Canada do? They simply found other countries that wanted the goods and even struck better deals. The only thing coming out of this is that the U.S. will lose trade partners.

Av dette er det i hovedsak råvarer, da det er det vi produserer. Dette blir solgt uansett. Om noen tror at de kommer til å ignorere flaskehalser i industrien pga. 10% moms på metaller, dypvannsteknologi, petroleumsprodukter og søt lav svovel olje, eller laks til rikingenes sushi.

Nå er det bekreftet. Han vet ikke hva toll betyr. det er ikke noen av de landene nevnt i teksten der som står blir til å betale dette, det er de amerikanske personene og bedriftene som importerer som betaler toll.
Faktisk vil ikke dette endre stort for oss da vi kan eksportere til samme pris, og største risikoen her er at vi selger export til andre land til samme prisen, mens amerikanske forretninger har høyere sjanse til å gå glipp av vår handel.

As an American veteran of Norwegian descent, all I can really say is this: although I never voted for him, I’m profusely sorry. This depraved piece of shit does not represent me, my values, or the country I once believed in and fought for. I’m convinced no one loathes this man more than I do, which is why it’s so bewildering, and infuriating, to still see fellow Americans supporting him. I feel like a stranger in my own country. We’ve effectively handed a live grenade to a monkey and set him loose on the global stage. It’s absurd. I’m also fighting a battle with my employer, Micron Technology, who caved to the felon and donated to his ridiculous ballroom. I’ve just had it with all these cowards who bow down for this costume of a man.
For what it’s worth, some of us are doing more than just yelling into the Reddit void, albeit not enough of us. I show up to protests. I contact my representatives. I make my opposition known.
