Rogue river school district receives $25,000 grant to support school-based health center

Rogue River School District has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Oregon Community Foundation to support a school-based health center that will provide accessible medical and mental health care to students.

Rogue River, Ore. — Rogue River School District has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Oregon Community Foundation to support a school-based health center that will provide accessible medical and mental health care to students.

“This fund will support important work in our community to address the health and wellness of our students,” said Patrick Lee, superintendent of Rogue River School District. “We’re excited to bring these critical services directly to our campus and grateful for the support of the Oregon Community Foundation.”

The grant is funded by the William and Florence Schneider Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation. The funding will help the district establish a center that ensures students can access healthcare conveniently, supporting both their academic success and overall well-being.
