Hello, American here. Your view is entirely fair and justified. I am tempted to make the same old “nOt aLL oF Us” argument, but from the outside looking in… yeah. I hate what ICE is doing. I hate that fascism has fully come to our country. But it has.
To all of my international friends… stay home. Don’t come here, don’t spend your money here, don’t put yourselves at risk. It is barely safe for any of us, I cannot say that it will be safe for you.
This era will pass. Sooner or later and in one way or another, it will pass. Until then, give us space and pray for us if you feel so inclined. There are many of us who oppose the current actions of our government, but that does not negate the reality we face.
