Two internationally wanted persons were arrested during the “Operacionalja” police action in Tirana.
An international arrest warrant was issued for citizens with the initials RB and GH by the Special Representative of the Secretary General of UNMIK/Kosovo on 13 January 2026. They are charged with the criminal offenses of “Participation in or organization of a structured criminal group” in the field of trafficking in human beings. The arrested were captured during two phases of the action, Operation 78 and Operation 79.
Authorities continue work on their extradition to Kosovo.
