KFOR Commander, Major General Özkan Ulutaş, met today with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, at Camp Film City in Pristina.
During the meeting, Ulutaş and Sveçla exchanged views on the security situation in Kosovo, as well as on further improving communication and cooperation between KFOR and the Kosovo Police.
According to the KFOR announcement, Ulutaş emphasized KFOR’s unwavering commitment to continuing its contribution to maintaining security throughout Kosovo and the wider region.
KFOR has reiterated that it continues to implement its mandate to guarantee a safe and secure environment for all citizens living in Kosovo.
It was also emphasized that KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), within the framework of their roles as security responders. /Telegrafi/
