That’s unfortunate. We seem to love not learning from our mistakes in this country. Oh well.

I’m not partisan, I’ve voted PC and Liberal almost equally. But I cannot understand why anyone would rather have Poilievre running the country instead of Carney, other than pure ignorance. Sorry. PP is an absolute joke. I won’t be voting PC again until they get a serious leader.

  4. >participants were reached through random digit dialing (RDD) across both landline and cellular phone networks

I wonder how many people told them to fuck off

Go snap up your Chinese slave labour made fake MG’s people! Go pat yourselves on the back for backing a decision that weakens our country as a whole and takes jobs away from us! Great job everyone!

  6. PP is a terrible leadership choice, he existed only as a populist jerk to counter Trudeau, which wasn’t a difficult task as Canada was ready to move on from him no matter the opposition.

With Carney, PP is clearly the idiot in the room and the CPC isn’t a serious party with him at the helm.

BREAKING: Statistics Canada just published that year over year inflation for food: 6.2% Based on the December data, Canada has the highest inflation in the G7. Carney told us to judge him by the prices of groceries.

    Latest available figures:

    Canada — 6.2%
    Japan — 6.1%
    United Kingdom — 4.2%
    United States — 3.1%
    Italy — 2.6%
    France — 1.7%
    Germany — 1.4%

So can we judge Carney for food prices like he told us to yet?

  8. Liason Strategies Polling.

David Laventin: has worked as a registered lobbyist for clients like the National Ethnic Press and Media Council of Canada (NEPMCC) and has had numerous meetings with government office holders, including the Prime Minister’s Office and Canadian Heritage. The organization he consults for has received significant federal grants during the time he has lobbied on their behalf

Alexander Nanov : Liberal Staffer: Nanov previously worked for Geng Tan, a former Liberal Member of Parliament (MP) for the riding of Don Valley North.

    I love AI.

  9. The Liberals haven’t had any consequences for their corruption and total devastation of the job market, housing market, immigration, healthcare, etc. I voted Conservative for the first time in 2025 and will vote for whoever they offer.

I don’t even hate Carney’s performance. He’s not as bad as Trudeau. But he’ll never get my vote because Trudeau.

“But Carney isn’t Trudeau” isn’t good enough.

Tamara Lich is going to be at the CPC convention, despite being under house arrest. This is what the CPC really is.

There was part of me that would consider PP. I was a longtime con voter until voting for carney. Since PP congratulated Trump on a war crime in Venezuela I’m fucken out. Read the room, you ignorant, smug pile of… we can’t be complicit to this American regime in any way. They are evil.

I read the detailed report. Carney seems to be doing better with the 18-34 crowd than he was, and he’s even running at +4 net approval rating in Alberta. This is a good news story for him. He needs to capture the imagination of the 18-34 crowd to improve his numbers.

  13. Canada 338 summarizes data from all the different polling companies. Latest data has the two parties neck & neck – 39% Liberal to 38% Conservative – with a 4% margin of error.

    The country remains deeply divided.

  14. Carney basically *is* the Conservative actual Progressive Conservatives wanted. PP and the Reformers are nothing more than a reminder that we could look a lot more like the US if they were in power. They’ll maintain the fringe vote, but continue bleeding anyone close to centrist unless they course correct.

Also PP’s “Down with socialism.” post on X is one of the most hilarious things I’ve ever seen, coming from a guy whose entire adult life has been supported by the Canadian taxpayer.
