People across Malta woke up to the damage caused by Storm Harry as gale-force winds continue to pound the country for a second day.
Buildings and trees were damaged, with coastal areas including Marsascala, Sliema and Birżebbuġa feeling the worst effects of the storm.
While many people observed the ‘stay indoors’ warning, some of those who ventured out on Tuesday morning had their paths covered with debris.
The Civil Protection Department dealt with 42 fallen trees, 23 pieces of debris, two billboard ‘incidents’ and responded to fires, spillages and two people trapped in a lift.
