Is this chart saying that a quarter of all players playing Halo Infinite are Hero rank? Is this active players? This feels off…

  2. Not sure this is particularly interesting or especially useful. This only says that ranking systems between games are not comparable.

  3. There’s definitely more than 87 players with SSL in Rocket League, did you only look at one queue type or?

  4. Rocket league ranks are forever irrecovably messed up. Since they don’t discourage smurfing, the player pool gets more and more diluted. Which is why it “seems” like everyone is getting better. It’s partially true, but it’s also partially because 90% of people that play consistently are also using their “alt account” (i.e. smurfing). So every new or average player is getting consistently paired with people who are better than they are. Makes Ranking up practically impossible unless you make it a full time job.

  5. Why was these specific games choose, and why where those two specific games not included? Seems very random. Like there is a criteria that makes a game fit, but the two listed games aren’t included, even though they fit. It doesn’t state what the criteria is though.

  6. Hey OP! I wonder why you chose to make a graph with Radiant and One above all included and one without? Granted I don’t play these games, so I’m not quite sure what the difference is, but just based on the numbers, it doesn’t seem like they would be outliers worth separating. Also based on my small Valorant knowledge Radiant might be the penultimate rank? In that case, why not make a similar distinction with Challanger, Master and Grandmaster for League? Seems like those two ranked systems are pretty similar since they were both made by the same company.
