Answear, one of Central Europe’s leading premium and high-end fashion retailers, has appointed Ruxandra Geantă as Country Manager for Romania, effective January 2026. The company has been active on the local market for over a decade through its platform answear.ro.
In her new role, Geantă will lead Answear’s development strategy in Romania, with a focus on strengthening the brand’s digital presence, accelerating local business growth, and reinforcing its premium positioning in a fashion market undergoing rapid maturation.
Ruxandra Geantă brings over 10 years of experience in e-commerce and online retail, having held key roles at companies such as Fashion Days, Vivre, and Dertour, where she managed strategic projects aimed at increasing sales and consolidating operations. She also worked at BaseLinker Romania, where she developed and implemented market strategies and automation solutions to support the growth and scaling of online businesses.
Her background combines operational expertise with a strong results-oriented approach and experience in building high-performing teams, positioning her to deliver immediate and sustainable impact in the development of Answear Romania.
Answear currently operates in 12 markets and offers a portfolio of more than 800 international brands, covering apparel, footwear, and accessories for women, men, and children. The company operates its own logistics center and proprietary IT solutions, supporting high operational efficiency, fast delivery, and competitive pricing, as well as a dedicated loyalty program, Answear Club.
