  1. “No one should be above the law”…. I have not heard that for a very long time at this point. Go figure. What a concept. Finally.

  2. We all know tRump and his idiot goons are breaking the law but yet congress wont do a thing to stop it…which they have the power to do so.

Watching daily politics in the USA circa 2024 is **wild.**

Watching NaziLite expedite a hard turn taking America into early 1920s Germany is astounding.

Watching Americans broadstroke talking about it actively happening, but then concluding compartmentalization of it with “But it’s not quite there **yet…**” is perplexing.

  4. Seriously, people, we need to find a way to combat the main tool of all shit politicians in the world – Trump, putin etc, which helped them to get to power:
    Misinformation.
Someone’s quote I stole on the internet or some site in 2020 during covid:
“Misinformation is much more than a problem among many, it is the engine that drives humanity toward ecological collapse, war, health crises and democratic breakdown. If we do not tackle misinformation at its root, every other solution we try to build will collapse under the weight of lies”

  6. This is a half truth…in that the word “engaged,” makes it sound like he’s stopped.

  7. He watched a baby thrown into the great lakes in 1984. He previously raped the mother of that baby

Crime is all the Orange painted pedophile knows. The Epstein files will be destroyed before being released!

  8. The combative tone the republicans are using is disgraceful. I can’t stand
    Listening to them. What hypocrites

How do these MAGA woman look in the mirror defending a rapist. Trump didn’t “make a mistake.”

  10. He literally does so every day in the news and nobody does anything. This is not exactly news.

  11. The widely circulated Trump critique by Oliver Kornetzke reads:

“Behold. The festering carcass of American rot shoved into an ill-fitting suit: the sleaze of a conman, the cowardice of a draft dodger, the gluttony of a parasite, the racism of a Klansman, the sexism of a back-alley creep, the ignorance of a bar-stool drunk, and the greed of a hedge-fund ghoul-all spray-painted orange and paraded like a prize hog at a county fair. Not a president. Not even a man. Just the diseased distillation of everything this country swears it isn’t but has always been-arrogance dressed up as exceptionalism, stupidity passed off as common sense, cruelty sold as toughness, greed exalted as ambition, and corruption worshiped like gospel. It is America’s shadow made flesh, a rotting pumpkin idol proving that when a nation kneels before money, power, and spite, it doesn’t just lose its soul-it shits out this bloated obscenity and calls it a
    leader.”

  12. When this is all over I need people to realize that as much as Trump is a national embarrassment, an even larger National Embarrassment has been our government’s complete impotence to check him in any real way. THAT’s what I’m gonna be most ashamed of in 10 years. THAT’s what America’s likely never living down. Our government is useless top to bottom.

  13. Take note: This is why they don’t want Bill Clinton to testify about the Epstein Files anywhere but behind closed doors with no cameras.

If Bill is in there raping children he has zero reason not to dump on everyone else and the GOP doesn’t want to burn many of their biggest donors.

That Smith is allowed to testify like this shows that they intend to be rid of Trump (presumably after the midterms).

Can’t wait until Stephen Miller is on trial for corruption, abuse of power, and treason.

  15. Well yeah, Trump is Hitler. ICE are NAZIS. We are currently trapped under an umbrella of blatant fascism.

  16. Trump lost the election. After that, he launched a series of coordinated efforts to hold onto power, even after being told repeatedly that his fraud claims had no factual basis. His Attorney General Bill Barr told him the fraud claims were “bullshit” in December 2020. His campaign lawyers and advisors told him the same. State officials in Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, and Pennsylvania told him the same. Vice President Pence told him the same. In November and December 2020, Trump personally called state officials, including Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger on January 2, 2021, urging him to “find 11,780 votes.” He contacted Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers and legislators in multiple states, pushing them to overturn certified results. A blatant and coordinated effort to defraud the United States by using false claims to interfere with the lawful certification of votes.

Trump-aligned activists and party officials in seven states he lost signed documents claiming they were the “duly elected and qualified” presidential electors. They were not. Courts had rejected Trump’s challenges, and Biden had already been certified the winner. The fake certificates were sent to Congress and the National Archives, exactly like real electoral votes. Trump campaign lawyer Kenneth Chesebro proposed this, arguing Republicans in states Trump lost should meet on December 14 and certify themselves anyway. In a December 9 memo, he described the strategy as a way to create a “controversy” during the January 6 count that could delay certification and shift power to Congress or state legislatures. He warned internally the plan was unconstitutional.

On December 14, the plan was executed as outlined. John Eastman, who later lost his law license over his role in this scheme, admitted the plan violated the Electoral Count Act and would likely lose 9–0 at the Supreme Court, but he still pushed Vice President Pence to use the fake electors. Some participants later said they were misled about how the documents would be used. This is conspiracy to defraud the United States and attack voting rights. The aim was to erase millions of real votes and replace them with fake certificates.

Trump then pushed the Department of Justice to publicly announce the election was corrupt. Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen and other DOJ officials refused. Trump pressured Vice President Pence on January 4 and January 5, 2021, to reject or delay counting certified electoral votes. Pence’s counsel told Trump this was unconstitutional. Trump kept pushing anyway. Prosecutors say this is obstruction of an official proceeding and conspiracy to obstruct, because the explicit goal was to stop Congress from certifying the election.

January 6 was the final pressure tactic. Trump summoned supporters to Washington for a “Stop the Steal” rally, repeated fraud claims he had already been told were false, and told the crowd to march to the Capitol. Certification was delayed after the Capitol was breached. The delay created an opportunity to push the fake elector strategy and pressure lawmakers and Pence. The sequence isn’t random. Fraud claims justified state pressure. State pressure failing led to fake electors. Fake electors required DOJ or Pence to act. January 6 created time and fear to force action. Across all of this, Trump knew he lost and knew the fraud claims didn’t hold up.

This was a pipeline of actions designed to stop the peaceful transfer of power. Coordinated legal strategies. Fake government documents. Attempts to exploit constitutional loopholes. Pressure on state and federal officials. Mobilization timed to the exact moment the election was finalized. This is a democracy under stress. If we are truly a country that values law and order everyone should denounce this – and if we aren’t. I enjoyed having my constitutional rights while they lasted.
