  1. oh great. I guess we wait three years to get back in, and rename the Kennedy center, and and and…

  2. Even if we get a new president who rejoins WHO, the damage to the US’s international reputation has already been done

  3. The US has to rely solely on RFK Jr in case a new disease outbreak occurs. Good luck with this!

  4. American institutions have proven weak as shit to resist fascists taking over the government

  5. Measles and Co. does not care about geography, money, politics or gender.
Very democratic, disease moves in where it can.

And the rest of the world, especially Canada and Mexico, will pay for it. In Canada we’ve already seen a huge resurgence in measles.

    I’m so tired.

  7. Well, with the lack of vaccinations of almost forgotten diseases, hopefully the WHO will put some travel advisories on all of the US. Not to mention Tylenol either because the presidency apparently can’t pronounce acetaminophen. Hurting the US financially is the only way to make them change.

  8. Just completely shit brained. These dumb motherfuckers are so busy trying to isolate the US from any sort of global cooperation. Just steadily vomiting stupidity all over everything good that we’ve done in the last 100 years.

EVERY nation needs to institute vaccine requirements on Americans crossing their boarders, like yesterday.

The same people that believe that vaccines are bad and the world is flat of course believe that international organizations promoting cooperation are harmful. This is what you elect after decades of tearing down the education system in the country. Maybe we come back from this, and maybe I’m just an optimistic fool.

  11. As an American, now that this has happened I’m even more confident in following WHO’s public health recommendations.

Before the end of February, we will see plenty of bitching and moaning from Trump and his admin about how the US was not given a seat at the table for some conference concerning some general health concern

I swear he is just filling the air with so much noise to take away from the fact they have withheld the complete epstein files release for over a month now.

    It’s all distraction.

  14. Congratulations Americans! Your food and infrastructure costs are about to plumet. Manufacturers can now use sawdust in food again and asbestos in building materials. /s

  15. A sad day for America. One of the idiots is actually pushing to do away with Polio vaccinations.

  16. FaithlessnessThen207 on

I do not understand the benefit to this, even as a core selfish choice for Trump?

A lot of global systems are architected by the united states to give it a level of advantage. Why would you remove yourself from a world you set up to benefit yourself?

  17. Next week the board of health will be announced, 2 billion for membership and the expert advice will be to eat more McDonalds.

It is going to take so long to fix everything. Some of the damage may be irreparable

  19. Sorry guys, I truly hope the following presidents aren’t such dipshits. And I hope that a good majority of fellow Americans have learned the consequences of not being involved in voting. I truly hope whoever comes next and after can mend the significant fuck ups of this current administration.

  20. I can’t say what I want to say because I was warned by Reddit. This is great, now we can be a fascist country that pays more for healthcare, snd have substandard healthcare with it!
