  1. From the text of the constitution:

    >The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects,[^([a])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution#cite_note-2) against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

All they are doing is to make that the norm so it is reasonable to expect that to be the case.

  2. Couldn’t be clearer.
But does constitutionality matter to them? Of course not. Will any other branch enforce a check and balance? Also no.

  3. We’re five minutes away from being required to give quarter to these redcoat fucks with a full English breakfast in the morning.

  4. Do not sell out your hard earned Liberty in the name of rounding up criminals. Your rights as an American are being infringed.

if you haven’t seen this, its huge, LE calling out ICE on constitutional issues. It would be front page news if it wasn’t for nuking Greenland: SHARE IT EVERYWHERE: [Brooklyn Park Police Chief Mark Bruley: “We’re hearing people being stopped with no cause & being demanded to show paperwork to determine if they’re here legally. We started hearing from our police officers the same complaints. Every one of these individuals is a person of color…it has to stop” : ](https://www.reddit.com/r/minnesota/comments/1qib372/brooklyn_park_police_chief_mark_bruley_were/)r/minnesota

Door to Door raids by masked federal agents, detention and assault on law abiding citizens – without cause. Pepper spraying peaceful protesters? AYFKM? This is a bipartisan nightmare.

If your’re not on r/minnesota get on it

Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.” – Ben Franklin

  5. They are most certainly not legally allowed to do this. But that doesn’t mean they won’t do so anyway and harm you in the process.
They are lawless thugs, just like all Republicans.

  6. Who cares what a federal agency interprets the law to be? The Supreme Court gutted Chevron deference which gave federal agencies deference in their interpretation of law. You see when it was agencies like the EPA that was bad for them to make interpretive decisions. But I guess if it’s DHS giving ICE a free pass then shoot go get em partner.

  7. Nothing says freedom and rule of law more than “We are allowed to do whatever we want because of a secret internal memo.”

It’s very simple: state police agencies should be required to go arrest all ice agents for breaking the 4th amendment and aiding and abetting the 4th amendment. Then when the ice agents inevitably resist and hit the state police charge them with assaulting a police officer in the conduct of his duties, resisting arrest, assault with a deadly weapon.

They should go arrest them with no knock warrants at the local hotels while they sleep as they pose a flight risk: Nazis are always cowards in small numbers

  9. Y’all realize why the colonists were so touchy about the government being in their homes? Y’all realize what was happening to them?

There are certain things that are considered normal and natural for armed troops to do to civilians.

“I’m not wearing a mask! I have rights!”

    “Just obey their orders!”

They’re going to sacrifice some ICE agents to the 2nd amendment and then try to enact martial law. I mean come on, you start breaking into houses in America, you’re going to encounter some firearms.

  12. SinglecoilsFTW on

republicans have twisted the second amendment to be something the founders would find unrecognizable yet this clear, unambiguous text is proving to be another brain buster

  13. This passed a few years ago. If you live within 100 miles of the country border or an international airport you have 0 accessibility to the 4th amendment if it is a “matter of national security” which all immigration falls under.

This has been known for about 7 years as “the plan” and we’ve built over 80 urban warfare training facilities for exactly this. The ACAB crowd has been screaming this for years and there’s been numerous high profile protester deaths linked to these cop cities.

  14. TiredOfBeingTired28 on

Only if “ANY FUCKING ONE” with power actual enforces anything but would seem no one from jo bob cop to highest court think the law applies anywhere but punish the dirty non red team.

  15. My second amendment authorizes use of a steel slug loaded 12 gauge.

Castle laws make it so I can really enjoy my freedoms.

Steel shot and dragons breath is a great weapon.

  16. Almost like the 2nd ammendment exists to resist such flagrant violations of the common sense expected rule of the land🤷

  17. DesertTrailsFox on

I convinced my grandma a while back that ICE was acting illegally here, but all it changed was that she believes that it is “unfortunate that violating the constitution has become necessary to enforce immigration” because there is “no other way”.

  18. UltraMegaFauna on

The constitution isn’t worth shit now. We need an entirely new system of government: one run by the working people not the billionaires.

  19. You better check a list of who exactly is behind the doors of the places you plan on entering.

All I know is, there are a lot of folks that have planned their entire life for this kind of scenario.

  20. Not advocating or condoning violence, honestly surprised that ICE agents breaking into homes have not been shot.

  21. Laws are only as useful as their enforcement. People need to stop asking what the law says and start asking what happens when the people in power break it. Nothing? Then it is only a law for the powerless.

  22. Except that SCOTUS will rule that in the case of immigration enforcement, everything is permitted.

  23. trulymissedtheboat89 on

I dont understand, this is literally the reason republicans support the second amendment….

  24. OhiobornCAraised on

Can someone explain why ICE doesn’t have a proper judicial warrant if the wanted person has had a final removal order issued to them?

  25. Consistent_Heat_9201 on

Are we at the point where we defend ourselves or is this some accepted free-for-all? I think many are wondering when to say when.

  26. Individual_Click5252 on

Breaking into a home without a judicial warrant is basically no different than a home invasion. It’s only a matter of time before somebody exercises their 2nd amendment rights and all hell will break loose, which is probably ICE’s objective.

  27. zeronormalities on

People need to wake up and realize that we don’t have rights, we never have had any rights.

We have privileges, so long as we’re compliant, docile, and those privileges don’t become an inconvenience to the pursuits of the capitalist class, those more equal citizens of the USA.

    The Bill of Rights…

Is a make-believe safety blanket or right that we’ve never had, and never will have.

  28. IrrelevantLeprechaun on

I mean, idk if they’ve noticed, but rules, laws and the constitution itself kind of *don’t matter anymore*. This whole “we have laws to stop this” angle is meaningless cope.

    We are completely screwed.

  29. DISCARDED-SLAGHEAP on

Yeah no, you enter my house without a warrant or properly announcing yourself and I’m sending rounds at you, there is absolutely no debate.

  30. AccomplishedBrain309 on

Ice knows its wrong. Theres no enforcement so they dont care. This is exactly why we have the constitution. Its being violated from the top down.
