What’s Meloni doing there? Ready to backstab everyone on the orders of her friend the orange turd-muppet?

    2. Why is Merz in the middle? He is not really doing anything worthwhile so far, almost as passive as Scholz. Trump only acknowledges strength, nothing else.

    3. Replace Meloni with Kaja Kallas, Merz with Mark Carney, and give Mette a huge axe, because she did a good job.

Maybe we should stop patting ourselves on the back now and actually do something concrete, like properly helping Ukraine while really start with strengthening our defense and learn to stand up to Russia’s bullying

    5. loool 😀

they should have used the eyepatch Scholz picture too 😀 Solidus Scholz

Meloni looks ready to backstab everyone

Idk, I am italian so it is weird seeing her depicted as a europeista warrior. After all, she has thrown her support behind a lot of far-right parties

    7. Some are making more convincing warriors than others. They should have just given all of them Macron’s sunglasses.

    8. Merz being up front after having done absolutely fuck-all is a piss take. Macron should be standing up front.

Frankly, none of these people have what it takes to deal with an orange lunatic. We need a paradigm shift. So far, Mark Carney is the only one who has demonstrated real leadership, Macron is not far behind but needs to be WAY more aggressive.

    10. I’d watch my back if i were Macron, given how they are positioned in the “group shot”

Meloni there? Ohhh, I see she will be the character that you know will backstab the team. It’s going to be a mega shocker plot twist, I bet.

    12. Meloni being in this is an absolute joke and automatically renders the message behind this cover useless. A couple of weeks ago that woman – among with other right-wing populist European leaders – appeared in a video campaigning for the re-election of Orban in this year’s elections.

Der Spiegel blamiert sich mit so einem Cover und sollte sich eigentlich dafür schämen.
