I know that this is more Ostrobothnian than Finnish, but I still wanted to share it hahaha. I fell in love with the design years ago, and since I know how to knit… nothing was stopping me from making one myself!
I probably won’t wear it in Finland when I visit my friends over there though, idk if it would be a bit weird since I don’t have any Finnish heritage LOL

Nice job! 😊👍 There is history behind it, but you can wear it. I love it

Just wait till you hear what country Ostrobothnia is in!
Very nice. Was it hard to make?
You should wear it, we wont mind 🙂 just don’t wear the black and blue version, lapua shirt, unless you want to signal being part of old fasict group.
Definitely do wear it

Looks great!
Beautiful, wool looks cosy
Put it in a bag and you’ll learn Finnish!
That’s really great!
To be frank I don’t think most people mind you wearing it.

No one will think it’s weird. They’ll be amazed when they find out you made it yourself.
Haven’t seen those around in a while, but you did a good job there!
Looks great, now only thing you need is a puukko to go with that.
😍😍😍

It’s not weird. You can wear it.
Looks great. I have the blue-gray version and started to use it after a 15 yr pause. Found it from my parents and it still fitted. It is a bit of a statement even in Finland, but I like it.
I LOVE IT! wear and tear it with pride and health, especially when you are in Österbotten and elsewhere in Pohjanmaa 🙂
