France Confirms Support for Greenland and Denmark Sovereignty

As reported by the online media Ukrinform.

France reiterates its support for the sovereignty of Greenland and Denmark, viewing it as a matter of upholding international law and the right of peoples to self-determination.

At a briefing in Kyiv, France’s Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Armed Forces and in charge of veterans’ affairs, Alice Rufo, answered questions from Ukrainian journalists and stressed the principled nature of this position.

She noted that supporting the sovereignty of Ukraine and Greenland is linked to a single legal principle – respect for territorial integrity and the right of peoples to statehood.

These are identical actions. Sometimes it’s hard, but important – to stay true to what you believe. When you support the sovereignty of Greenland and Denmark, when you support the sovereignty of Ukraine, you are essentially doing the same thing
