I wish that expats from foreign nations wouldn’t use this country for political protests that have nothing to do with Australia. They can go to Teheran to protest for their cause.

    2. Damn I should’ve gone, Iranians deserve more attention in their attempt to free their country ❤️

Iranian and they’re protesting the Islamic leadership in charge. I do have to say that they’re a lot more pleasant to be around compared to the pro Palestinian protestors.

    4. another day

      another protest

wont have any outcome, except for annoying the shit out of everyone

Super relevant to Brisbane 👍 definitely it will make a difference and isn’t just a huge waste of time.

They are protesting about things Australia should not get involved in! Enough problems in the Indo Pacific

    7. They are doing the same as the people in their home country showing solidarity, they are fed up with the theocracy over there.

But the result is people getting gunned down for protesting, Its sad what is happening over there.

So long as they keep moving it shouldn’t disrupt things too much.

The USA is currently sending two aircraft carrier groups to the region for some diplomacy.

    8. what does this have to do with Brisbane or Australia? this is awfully cringe and doesn’t even incite any change (which is supposed to be the point of a protest)

Iran voted for a revolution btw but years of American led sanctions and turmoil have pushed the public to the brink.

Just more American fuckery. Constant destabilising of the middle east

    10. Whilst I agree with them, I don’t want protests for overseas issues in this country. Leave it over there. Or to the able bodied men go fight for your country like many in this country did

Forgive my ignorance, but how exactly is this relevant to us? I don’t really understand holding a protest in a country completely unrelated to the thing being protested. Not like the Iranian government will see or care about this.

    12. God, there’s some real cunts in the comments. Let them protest in peace and thank all that’s holy we’re not a theocracy despite certain right-wing parties’ best efforts.

Why do they protest in Australia?
We can’t do anything to help????
So how does it work? Why do they do it ?

Can these people protest our rogue government instead of faffing about over everyone else’s problems.

    16. It’s quite funny to me – it’s like if I was living in Singapore and I walked through the streets protesting Aboriginal deaths in custody. Like, hello

    17. Oh yeah on my way home working since 7 am, Iovin it. I just wanted a show but I’m stuck in traffic

Iran today, Palestine tomorrow, Aboriginals Monday. And it will all be the same people.
