The Swedish tech giant Ericsson this month announced it wanted to lay off 1,200 workers in Sweden, about one in every ten. We want to hear from readers who are affected about what they think of the redundancy programme.
The company wrote in a press release on January 15th that the layoffs were “part of a set of measures aimed at ensuring the company’s competitive position.” While it said it had started discussions with trade unions, it did not provide information as to which offices will be hit the hardest.
We’d love to hear from readers employed at the company what they know so far and what they feel about the decision to cut down workforce numbers yet again. Please tell us by filling in the survey below. If it doesn’t pop up, trying clicking this link.
