The Japanese government has decided to accept up to around 1.23 million foreign workers by March 2029 under two programs — one for skilled workers and the other for trainees.

    Seems like the government is going to have stricter control of foreigners but is going to accept more coming in. The question is whether more foreigners are going to accept the terms to coming and living here with stricter policies.

    Of course they will be happy to come for 10 times that salary in japan, even though it’s considered low for the average 10 million yen earner from reddit
